YOGA SESSIONS


Develop flexibility, strength, balance and concentration through the practice of Yoga.  The combination of balance, postures, movements, and deep breathing focuses the mind and body as students learn to release stress and activate healing within their own bodies.

Wednesday  6:30 - 7:45

Modern/Jazz Classes:

TEACHER PROFILES

Ann Marie Kirk had early ballet training with Jamie Jameson at the Wilmington Academy of Dance. She has a BA from Pennsylvania State University and two years of graduate work at University of Maryland. Ann Marie has taught ballet for 25 years. She was a Social Worker for 17 years and is the Director of Art for Justice. In 2008 Ann Marie received the Transformation Award from the Leeway Foundation- the award is given to women artists in the Philadelphia Area who have used their art to promote social change.

Ann Marie has taught Creative Movement/Yoga classes (2007- 2009) for developmentally challenged adults who are clients of Developmental Enterprises Corporation in Montgomery County.  She also teaches private classes for developmentally challenged individuals and private clients who have experienced trauma or severe emotional distress.

Jessica Neff has a BS from Pennsylvania State University and is completing her Nursing Degree at Drexel University. Jessica has taught Modern and Jazz for four years. She continues to study dance with Myra Bazell in Philadelphia.
